Christian School of York is excited to announce that they are seeking a full-time Development Officer to join their leadership team!
This individual will be responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships and soliciting gifts to provide Christian School of York with a strong, ongoing base of financial support.
This individual will work to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward givers and contributors - individuals, foundations, corporations, and churches - through face-to-face meetings and other communications, to develop a strong base of financial support for CSY.
This individual will also collaborate with other members of the leadership team on fundraising strategies and approaches.
Applicant must be an effective communicator, be able to listen well, and be able to work as part of a team. Willingness to travel and to work nights and weekends when necessary is required.
Education and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or relevant work experience
Five years of work experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, or other related area (preferred)
Must have a passion for the mission of CSY!
Must be in good standing with his or her church community
