Requirements
Head of School at the Christian School of York (CSY) located in York, PA. Full-time

Founded in 1956, the mission of CSY is “Equipping students through academic rigor and
uncompromising Biblical truth to impact the world for Christ.” Our mission is achieved
by a dedicated and competent faculty, led by a passionate administrative and executive
team in partnership with committed families. CSY currently serves 552 students in
grades PK2-12th and has seen its enrollment double over the past five years. This
remarkable growth has strengthened the school's financial position and sustainability.
We offer several athletics programs, after school clubs, fine arts, gifted, and special
education services.
The Head of School (HOS) operates as the organization's CEO and reports directly to the
Board of Trustees using a Policy Governance framework. The HOS serves as a Christian
role model for the faculty, staff, parents, and students while serving as both a
representative and a promoter of CSY. They provide visionary leadership and are
responsible for the overall success of school operations and outcomes. The HOS has
authority over operational decisions, budgeting, and strategic planning. They work
diligently with the development team to build relationships with donors and participate
in fundraising activities.

The ideal candidate will possess:
● A strong testimony of salvation by faith in Jesus Christ and clear evidence of a
growing relationship with him.
● Masters or Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership, Business, or Non-Profit
Leadership
● Five (5) or more years of experience in education, nonprofit leadership, or other
relevant industry.
● Evidence of life long learning and development.
CSY sits on a beautiful 12.5 acre campus in York, PA, conveniently located near several
destinations including Lancaster, Hershey, Gettysburg, and Philadelphia. York County
offers outdoor adventures, engaging historical attractions, top notch restaurants, and a
low cost of living. York has the largest county park system in the state -- over 15,000
