“CSY has helped us equip our children academically
and spiritually to live a life surrendered to The Lord.
We thank them as they lead the next generation of students to live Christ centered lives and prepare them to be leaders in our communities."

1

Fostering a Biblical Worldview

All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
  • We teach the Bible, as the authoritative and infallible Word of God both as an explicit text and as a tool for understanding all subjects in light of the revelation of who God is.

  • We support students' commitment to the Lord and their pursuit of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • We assist students to think critically by viewing the world through the lens of scripture.

2

Pursuing Godly
Character

For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.

2 Peter 1:5-7
  • We employ practical teaching and application of the Word of God.

  • We encourage our students to live lives of Godly character defined by righteousness and wisdom, holding them accountable to exhibit Christ-like behavior.

  • We acknowledge that Godly character is made complete through the work of the Holy Spirit.

3

Cultivating
Community

As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another
Proverbs 27:17
  • We commit to building community among students.

  • We commit to building community with families.

  • We commit to building community with Churches.

  • We cultivate a culture of accountability and responsibility.

Engaging in Service to Others

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
1 Peter 4:10
  • We enable our students to serve as ambassadors for Christ and as His hands and feet.

  • We develop Christ-like servant leaders through modeling and instruction.

5

Developing Academic Excellence

Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.
Proverbs 16:3
  • We commit to employing highly qualified Christian educators.

  • We use effective and proven educational practices.

  • We promote success through academic rigor, challenging students to explore opportunities to learn and grow in areas of interest as well-rounded learners and critical thinkers, regardless of their calling or plans for life after school.

  • We celebrate the diversity of talents, gifts, and interests of individual students, nurturing their God-given potential, pursuits, and future plans.
